You are likely to be visibly pregnant by now, and if you haven’t already, you will start to swap your clothes for looser, more flowing options. As people begin to notice your stomach, you may find yourself in awkward situations where they want to touch your bump. Although people generally mean well, it’s essential to remember that you don’t have to agree if you aren’t comfortable with this.

How is your baby growing when 24 Weeks Pregnant?
Your baby now measures about 21cm and weighs about 630gm. The baby steadily grows but does not start to store fat until the final few weeks, so they are still relatively “lean” at this stage. Your movements rock your little one in the womb, so when you are active, they are sleeping. As the baby sleeps while you move, it means they are often awake at night when you are resting. You could consider this a test run for when your little one arrives!
What You May Feel
Many women start counting down their last weeks of work. Knowing your life is about to change forever and the excitement this entails, it can be hard to focus on mundane tasks. However, try to give your job attention in these last few months and enjoy it. As returning to work after your baby is born is a very different prospect.
Tips when you are 24 Weeks Pregnant
You may be thinking more and more about the arrival of your baby and how your life might change. Now is an excellent time to talk to your partner about your roles after the baby is born. It is sensible to discuss this now rather than fighting when you are sleep deprived and caring for a newborn. It is all about setting expectations and being each other’s support system.
